A JOURNEY OF A THOUSAND MILES BEGINS WITH A SINGLE STEP
Hami Imani Africa will turn three years old in April of 2023. What started out as a heartache and dream to help the most marginalized and forgotten people in Kenya is becoming a continuous blessing for all involved. Our cup runs over with God’s grace and our hearts are full of gratitude.
Our vision was to reach out to women and girls who have been abused emotionally, physically, and mentally. For them to find inner healing and a safe space to find their path through the Word of God, prayer and life skills to live a purposeful life and have a sustainable livelihood.

35 GIRLS WERE RESCUED
We are grateful to have rescued 35 girls who were being sexually abused and put them in a safe house. Most have joined high school and the rest at are still at the safe place. The perpetrator was arrested and the authorities have taken cause of action.
PROSTITUTION FOR THIS PRODUCT HAS STOPPED
The reusable sanitary towels have been of great help in reducing the number of girls missing school. Staying in school helps reduce teenage pregnancy and early marraiges. The rate of girls engaging in prostitution to get sanitary towels has stopped.
STUDENTS HAVE TRIPPLED AT THIS SCHOOL
The early school we started in Emotoki village has grown and the number of students increased to 120. When it started, we had 40. The second classroom has been built. Education is key.
JOY & FORGIVENESS ABOUNDS IN THESE HOMES
The joy of women listening to the Bibles in their heart language and sharing scriptures brings us so much joy. The sharing and forgiveness in the polygamous homes has been a huge testimony.

BONDING ONE VILLAGE AT A TIME
We have created beautiful relationships with the people of Masaai. God has been truly faithful and gracious to us to form a bond with people from a different culture. Loving them as God loves us all.
We keep going one village at a time, a family at a time, and we shall get the community at large.
